Thank You, Madam!

Yea, that's the one thing that I never really recieve.
Or any blessings when I sneeze...
Like, why doesn't ANYBODY say a simple "Bless you"?
It's pretty simple.
But I was really thinking about not getting thanked too often.
I mean, yes, I get thanks for all the small things I do... Picking up dropped items, helping people carry things, etc...
However, today made a great mark onto the book of things left un-thanked.

A friend of mine's sister just got into a car accendent.
My friend was left in the waiting room, and they wouldn't let her in to see her sister.
All my friend wanted to do was get out and go home.
So she called me up for some company.
I, being the "friend indeed" (from that saying "a friend in need is a friend indeed"), came right away to go see her.
Another one of our friends had already arranged to pick her up and take her home.
While waiting, I cheered up my somber friend and talked about light-hearted things to get her mind off of the accident.

After a couple minutes, the friend with a ride pulled up.
Immediately, Waiting Friend gets into Ride Friend's car.
No goodbyes, no thank yous, zip.
I even waved at Ride Friend when she got out of her car, but no wave, no recognition.
It was as if I was invisible.
No, literally!
There was I, waving at my friends, and in return I recieved ignorance.
What a way to make a girl feel loved, huh?

I know, I know, this is all "pity me" crap.
I just had to get it out because nobody else will listen.
You probably didn't even read this either.
Most likely, if you even CHECKED this, you saw the beginning of the story and thought "Another attention seeker."
And you left.

But whatEVER!
I'm freaking invisible anyways... Why should I matter?

If I acted like most people treat me, don't you know they would ask me "Hey, what's wrong with you?"
I actually tried this before, and trust me, that's exactly what my "friend" said.
It's completely horrific being the gold among pyrite here.
I mean, pyrite's pretty and all, but it's not pure like gold!
Except I would probably be something like.... Graphite.
I'm so plain and so easy worn away... Except I don't like to show it.

Haha, now I HOPE nobody reads this.
Seriously, only a complete nerd starts comparing people to minerals.
Ah, who cares?
You all stopped reading up at the first paragraph anyways.
